"The Blind Side" depicts the story of Michael Oher, a homeless African-American youngster from a broken home, taken in by the Touhys, a well-to-do white family who help him fulfill his potential. At the same time, Oher's presence in the Touhys' lives leads them to some insightful self-discoveries of their own. Living in his new environment, the teen faces a completely different set of challenges to overcome. As a football player and student, Oher works hard and, with the help of his coaches and adopted family, becomes an All-American offensive left tackle.
As I watched the show on the 1st of January 2010 in Kansas City, I was reminded of God's unconditional love for me by taking me from a miry clay, shaping me, molding me so that my potentials are unleashed. The mother, Leigh Anne Tuohy (Sandra Bullock) saw Michael (Quinton Aaron) and had compassion over him and impacted the life of Michael. She brought him home from the street without reservation. Michael was given not only food and shelter but also opportunity to study and opportunity to maximize his potential. I was once a pagan and because of His great love, I become the heir in God's kingdom. I am being grafted into this big family of Christ. I rejoice for my citizenship is in Heaven (Phil 3:20) even I may still struggle in my flesh but to overcome it through faith in Christ.

The real family of the movie "The Blindside".
