berries mania!

It's my annual fasting discipline on good Friday to remember Christ suffered for me. He was mocked, despised, flogged and whipped for my sins so that I may have a part in His kingdom. I have not been fasting since I came to the States. It was my regular habit to fast once a week. I was not confidence to be able to pick up fasting again but I managed my fast yesterday and it's encouraging to me. I sense a breakthrough in my spirit this morning and may I ever draw near unto Him, my lover, friend, judge and everything.

Fasting in itself is of no spiritual value (Isaiah 58; Jeremiah 14:12; I Corinthians 8:8) "that which is of the flesh is flesh," John 3:6 – but it is the attitude of a heart sincerely seeking Him to which God responds with blessing.

Berries are on sale now and glad to taste so many fresh berries with reasonable price. As my break fast this morning, I had wheat waffles with syrup and berries topping. Too good to believe I am currently living in this part of the world.

Praise God for who He was, He is and He will be forever!
