200906 Jehovah Jireh

May has been an eventful month to me. Not only we celebrated the Harvest for the Kadazans, but also the Pentecost Sunday in May. A month of gathering harvest, a month of deciding on the destination, a month of breakthrough! His overflowed blessings and favour are beyond words.

Do not let kindness and truth leave you; Bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. So you will find favor and good repute In the sight of God and man. Proverbs 3:3-4

In my last update, I mentioned that I have been accepted by the two seminaries. I took time to pray and seek the Lord for direction since it's not a small decision and I dare not take this lightly. God is wonderful! His Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path (Ps 119:105). So, I'm glad to announce that I have decided to move on to Denver Seminary in Colorado.

The application has not completed yet. (phew! my patience is being put to test.. haha) But I have no regret of going through this process. I experienced His power and love which I can't earn by my own righteousness but His grace.

The Jehovah Jireh has provided my financial needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus my Lord. Less than two months, God has moved the hearts of sponsors to give generously towards the budgeted expenses in pursuing my theological studies in USA. I really did not have the confidence in the Lord because I looked at the circumstances and that we are facing financial crisis globally. However, all things are possible with God.

At present, I am one step closer to completing my application and the day of leaving KK is also drawing nearer. I am in the process of gathering the documents from all my sponsors to be sent to seminary so that I-20 can be released for visa application. Then I shall go to KL for visa interview. All these should take place before August 20 by His grace.
