This photo was taken one evening after work at Sports Complex. I was worrying about my finance to furthering my studies. When I saw this scenery, I heard a still small voice "I will open the floodgate of Heaven and pour down the blessings to you"... I was in tears.. speechless.. God is good!
How Great is our God, Sing with me how great is Our God....
Many of my friends around me had great expectation on my ability to score well in TOEFL. Anyhow, I would not have passed had God not intervened. Frankly in my heart, I was trembling and fearful to face TOEFL. God must have a purpose for me as He brought me to revisit my failure in the past. I was hoping I could skip it. But... The fear actually crippled me not to move on as I was thinking I may fail again. However, God is faithful. The difference with the TOEFL then and now is that I did not have God in my life at that time and now, God is with me. Hallelujah! As I revisit my past failure, I depended on God and literally standing on His promises by meditating and reciting His Word and that was how I drew strength to trust on Him. For the last two weeks waiting for the score, I slowed down and sought Him, in my distress, I cried out to Him and He heard me.. It was more than a cave experience... PTL!
By His grace, may I know God better to keep trusting Him. I was reading the book "If you want to walk on water, you've got to get out of the boat". Quoting from the book,
'May be God is calling you to trust him at some point in your life. Trust him.. No one ever regreted trusting Christ more -- ever.'
'It is the same with God. Never try to have more faith -- just get to know God better.'
'You will have to follow the Path of God, which requires taking a leap of faith.'
Needless to say, I am speechless and in awe of Him..... of His mighty acts....
How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! 1 John 3:1a
May God lavish on us His unconditional love and may we experience more of His reality in our daily lives during this season of Holy week. God is faithful!
Praise the LORD.
