200902 Be Bold

I thank God for His goodness and faithfulness. When I'm downcast, He sent His angels to surround me and His Word to give me hope. I truly grateful for having Him in my life. His faithful promises are what I need to cling to now.

As you may aware or you may not know, I would like to share with you on my plan to go for Theological Studies. After serving God fulltime since 1999, I felt I need to move into different season to be equipped and trained to go further for Him.

Going thru the application process is not easy for me. It is definitely a big decision for me to make at this juncture in life. Many many questions i would ask God, also asked myself or questions which I was being asked. Of which, some I have no answer and still seeking Him for some questions. Some are helpful to enable me to think further. Even though I have been under tremendous stress, I thank God for His grace that sustains me till today.

I have sent in my application for two seminaries in USA namely Gordon Conwell Theological Seminaries in Massachusetts and Denver Seminary in Colorado. The Fall intake is in September. If I get accepted , I shall be leaving before the school opens in September this year. There are still quite a bit of details I need to sort out in order to complete my application such as to sit for TOEFL test, getting my passport renewed, getting an international driver's license and etc. When I got my acceptance letter, I will need to apply for visa. I am also not sure what else I need to take note but just taking one step at a time.

The TOEFL test is on 7 March. I will go to Singapore for the test in March. Pray that I will be able to score high to meet the requirement from school. They have changed the format for TOEFL and pray that I will get familiar with the test structure.
